Yes! If you’re not sure whether we’d be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you can expect from me, and answer any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to book afterward. If I don’t think I’m the right fit, I’m happy to point you toward someone who might be able to better support you.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To avoid being charged for a session, you must provide at least 24 hours of advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to show up for your appointment, a cancellation fee of $100 may be charged at my discretion. The cancellation fee reflects the time reserved for you that could have been used by another client.

I offer a private pay rate of $150. I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments. I tend to reserve those appointments for clients with substance use disorders or those who are experiencing reentry challenges after a period of incarceration. That being said, please reach out to check in about availability — I am committed to keeping therapy affordable and can always provide you with a referral to a trusted colleague.

I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. The Headway team will reach out with an email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You'll see your cost per session ahead of time and can check your benefits through the client portal. If you are a private pay client, you will be billed through Simple Practice.

I offer in person sessions at my office in Rocky River. Virtual sessions are held on the HIPAA compliant platform Simple Practice.
Weather permitting, I occasionally offer “walk-and-talk” sessions in Lakewood Park. If you elect to schedule a walking session, I will have you sign a separate consent form that states you agree to conduct sessions in a public space. Of course, there are lots of shady trees and benches there for us to carve out some privacy!
